Job Purpose: The Program Manager is responsible to coordinate and manage the delivery of revenue cycle services for medium to large and complex healthcare provider organizations nationwide. Specifically, ensuring that project releases, cross team application dependencies, other department coordination requirements, and communications both internal and external, are consistently managed. Focusing on high risk projects, the Program Manager will develop and manage a reporting portfolio on behalf of the MedAssets Revenue Cycle Services business unit for recurring presentations to the development organization and executive management staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Project success KPIs are measured and reported on an ongoing basis • Ensures concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management. • Project risks and issues are monitored and reported • Proficient in collaboration, conflict resolution, group interaction and dynamics, project management, and facilitation of significant projects • Strong interpersonal skills, especially specific to persuasion and negotiation • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to executives, managers, and staff • Ability to drive projects in a matrix management environment that includes influencing, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and openness with a focus on results orientation • Thorough knowledge of complex project management processes, tools, techniques and methodologies to lead large scale effort • Demonstrated ability in influence of operational management • Understanding of revenue cycle processes, requirements, and best practices, including Enrollment, Scheduling, Pre-registration, Registration, Admitting, Financial Counseling, Charge Master, Coding, Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Bad Debt, Payment Processing, Denial Management, Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable Finance Operations preferred • Demonstrated ability to determine the key risks that need to be addressed and develop actions plans that are multi-faceted in nature and include both business process and system components Minimum Qualifications & Competencies: • 4-6 years of experience leading multi-project program – level efforts that span client stakeholders, including internal senior leadership, partners/vendors, and external influencers • BA/BS Degree • PMP Project Management Certification desired • Healthcare - Hospital- Revenue Cycle Experience highly desireable • Thought leader in Project Management competence • Large project management competence Global rollouts, or larger than $1m in contracted services revenue • Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organization skills Has process design experience. • Excellent communication skills • Quickly review and understand contracts and SOWs Project turn around experience Travel: Up to 75% MedAssets is an Equal Opportunity Employer and ensures its employment decisions comply with principles embodied in Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, Executive Order 11246, Revised Order Number 4, and applicable state regulations. www.medassets.com/AboutUs/Careers"
